Become a Member Today!Since 1958 the Colorado Hearing Society (CHS) has been actively involved in representing the interests of Hearing Aid Providers in Colorado. In fact, we are the Charter Chapter of the International Hearing Society (IHS). CHS is the sole professional association that represents hearing aid dispensers, licensees and apprentices, throughout Colorado and is the primary organization to “protect your right to practice”. We represent you, the licensed dispenser/owner/hearing professional at the State Capitol with legislation, Sunset reviews, dispensing laws, Hearing Aid Practice Act and Statutes, OTC, online resellers, ethics questions and complaints, attempts to limit your scope of practice and more. Member Support To our membership, we provide support in the areas of legislative defense, training classes, continuing education and ethical standards and we provide access to other leading professionals in our industry throughout Colorado so you aren’t going it alone. Continuing Education CHS created and hosts the annual Rocky Mountain Hearing Symposium. The Symposium is designed specifically to impact practical training and information for the Hearing Aid Provider and provides enough Continuing Education hours to maintain your Colorado dispensing license now that CE hours are mandatory and have become a licensing requirement in Colorado.
